Today we departed Hong Kong. We had a tasty quick breakfast in the hotel before departing. The driver picked us up at promptly 7:45am. They really are not late here. He packed us up in the shuttle and we headed to the airport. Check in was fairly seamless and we boarded for the 5 hour flight to Bali. The flight went very smoothly and we arrived in Denpasar at approximately 2pm. We found our shuttle to head to Scuba Seraya Resort. As we traveled to the resort the traffic began getting very heavy and moving surprisingly slow once we were about a couple hours into the drive. The driver looked at us and told us that the rest of our drive would take approximately 3 more hours (the whole drive should take about 3 total). They were having an annual celebration walk that happens once per year and kids march 45 kilometers, chanting.
We had a quick dinner at a roadside restaurant to kill some time as the marching continued through the streets.

It took about another hour to get to our resort. We were exhausted after this long day. Goodnight!
