Arenui Liveaboard (August 24 – Day 7)

Posted by on August 24, 2013

Jess took the day off as she now has an ear infection.  She was put on eardrops and Cipro to cure the ear infection.  Today Scott and Ted dove Cannibal Rock, Crinoid Canyon, The Boulders and Torpedo Alley.  Cannibal Rock was a beautiful reef.  Saw a huge hawksbill turtle and bamboo shark on Cannibal Rock.

After the dive, we saw dolphins swimming on the surface.  At Torpedo Alley, Ted and Scott saw two long fin squid.  We all took the night dive off but were able to go to the beach and see the Komodo dragons.

In a few days, we will visit Komodo National Park to see more Komodo dragons.  The ones in the pictures above are quite wild.  The ones in the park are wild as well but they live around people.
