With over 2000 miles behind us and mostly good weather, the drive to Flagstaff was a little challenging due to a rain and snow mix along with some very strong winds. Crossing the Continental Divide in New Mexico was nothing like the 10-11 thousand feet you would find in Colorado but it was about 7500 feet and kept us in the lower gears (while still chugging along at 75mph).
Temps dropped to 25 degrees by the time we arrived at the campground in Flagstaff. Brrrr!

All aboard in Flagstaff! We walked around the funky downtown Flagstaff area and checked out some of the artsy side of Arizona:
Time to head towards California and our final stop…
