We packed up the RV this weekend and took a 2 hour drive to the Sierra foothills northeast of Nevada City and just west of Downieville to a little town called Dobbins. There is a nice little lake and resort there called the Lake Francis Resort. Saturday was spent riding the motorcycles. We headed to Graeagle and met our friends Gus and Stephanie for lunch at a tasty spot called Neighbors BBQ.
After lunch we headed to a true road of motorcycle nirvana called Quincy – La Porte Rd. At the higher altitudes it was very cold and snow was lining the edges of the road however the roads were dry and the riding was perfect. Jessica got to practice some of her skills that she learned the weekend before at Cal Superbike School.
After returning we spent some time walking around the lake and letting the dogs play.
On Sunday we spend a quiet Easter taking walks and catching up on some reading. Camping really is a blissful experience.
